Your Mission


As the Academy Manager at APGAR, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive academy program aimed at equipping our employees and consultants with the latest skills and knowledge in the data field. You will be responsible for developing innovative training programs that align with industry best practices and emerging trends, ensuring that our team remains at the forefront of data-related technologies. You will be in charge of developing the academy inside APGAR, and also with APGAR customers for our data literacy program, in collaboration with the head of Data advisory services at APGAR.


Your mission goals will be:


Training Program Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training catalogues for employees at all levels, focusing on data management best practices, industry trends, relevant technologies, and soft skills in coordination with offers directors and talent manager.
  • Establish a framework for ongoing professional development, providing resources and support for employees and consultants to pursue certifications, attend conferences, and participate in relevant industry events.
  • Oversee the implementation of academy programs, coordinating schedules, resources, and logistics to ensure seamless training delivery.
  • Utilize a variety of training methodologies, including workshops, online courses, guest lectures, and hands-on projects, to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
  • Ability to transform internal learning developments to external trainings center.

Curriculum Development

  • Create and maintain a structured curriculum that covers various aspects of data management, including data analytics, data governance, and emerging technologies. You will also play a key role in building and fostering a vibrant learning and development community within the organization.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and industry leaders to design a cutting-edge curriculum that covers a wide range of data-related topics, including data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data engineering.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements to continuously update and enhance training materials, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.

Learning Platforms Management

  • Oversee learning platforms and tools to ensure they are current, user-friendly, and aligned with the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Explore and incorporate innovative technologies and tools to enhance the learning process, such as virtual labs, simulation exercises, and interactive platforms.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure that training environments reflect real-world scenarios and utilize state-of-the-art data technologies.

Improvement & Performance

  • Conduct regular needs assessments with talent manager and offers directors to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization.
  • Develop and implement assessment mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Gather feedback from participants to continuously enhance the learning experience and adapt programs to meet evolving needs.
  • Provide regular reports on the effectiveness and impact of the academy program, using data and analytics to demonstrate ROI and make data-driven decisions for program improvement.

Compliance and Standards

  • Ensure training programs comply with company and industry standards, regulations, and internal quality benchmarks.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with talent manager, offers directors and SMEs to understand specific training needs within different teams and customize and validate programs accordingly.
  • Foster collaboration with internal teams to identify specific skill gaps and tailor training programs to address those needs.
  • Communicate the value of the academy program to all stakeholders, promoting a culture of continuous learning within the organization.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the budget for the academy program, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal utilization of resources.

External and internal communication

  • Establish and execute an internal and external communication plan in collaboration with our communication team.


Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in education programs and knowledge in curriculum management programs; doctorate degree is a plus.
  • Degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  • Proven experience as a training coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Experience in academical curriculum setting and adult education.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in developing and implementing training catalogues.
  • Minimum 10 years in total of professional experience.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong program management abilities and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt training programs to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and instructional design.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of data training programs and make continuous improvements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment is a plus.
  • Certified trainer certification is a plus.
