Overview:
A Hospital in Beqaa is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial operations and drive the financial strategy of the hospital. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for managing financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance and a proven track record in strategic financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement the hospital's financial strategy.
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
- Align financial strategy with the hospital's overall goals and objectives.
Financial Management:
- Manage the hospital's financial operations, including accounting, payroll, financial reporting, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the hospital's financial stability and liquidity.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including those related to investments, contracts, and operational activities.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the hospital's assets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Operational Leadership:
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to support hospital operations and strategic initiatives.
- Drive cost-efficiency and financial performance improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a liaison to the Board of Directors, financial institutions, and external auditors.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and healthcare partners.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; master’s degree or CPA/CFA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a healthcare setting.
