Operations Manager

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for efficient operations.
• Ensure the company’s standards conditions of safety, health & hygiene are in compliance with HACCAP and ISO 22000.
• Respect and work under the ISO 22000, HACCAP and SQMS requirements.
• Enhance systems, processes, and best practices.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and build healthy stock levels and optimize resource utilization.
• Manage inventory levels, track stock and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and logistics Department to ensure a smooth flow of materials and products.
• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Manage day-to-day operations, overseeing the production team and department to ensure high-quality products.
• Ensure organizational processes comply with legal regulations and standards.
• Uphold health and safety guidelines and enforce compliance.
• Monitor employee and team performance, offering coaching, training, and feedback for improvement.
• Set monthly production plan for the production team.
• Handle budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet strategic goals.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to align operations with organizational objectives.
• Set and implement monthly KPIs.
• Implement quality assurance measures for products/services and monitor production KPIs.
• Enhance customer service quality and satisfaction.
• Analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities and cost savings.
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
• Optimize workflows and processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, and training.
• Contribute and carry out production strategy decisions
• Report on operational efficiency and quality standards.
• Foster innovation and productivity through effective communication.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Integrate new technologies and business processes as needed.
• Maintain service operations to ensure sustainability.
• Develop conflict-resolution programs and lead conflict-management practices.

Qualifications:
• Holding a bachelor’s degree in food science, food engineering or any related field.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing operations is a must
• Must have a strong understanding of food safety regulations (HACCAP,GMP, SQMS..)
• Knowledge of production processes
• Problem Solving
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement strategies
