The role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to efficiently manage the different maintenance teams (electronics, electrical, mechanical, services), to ensure that works are done in accordance with the warehouses’ needs, and compliant with international safety & security norms. The role also includes managing preventive maintenance in order to keep all equipment running properly as per standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing and following-up on the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of electrical wirings, equipment, and fixtures in the factory.
- Managing and following-up on the operations and all auxiliary equipment, according to procedure.
- Performing preventive maintenance by conducting daily inspection on electrical, mechanical, electronics, and utilities issues.
- Recommending modifications and improvements and inspect team members’ work to ensure that safe work practices and standards operating procedures are followed.
- Making sure that all refrigerating and cooling rooms’ temperatures are in line with the standards and procedures.
- Ordering, receiving, and storing consumables (maintenance parts, office supplies, factory’s uniforms, cleaning tools and chemicals, and other tools).
- Overall responsibility of following up of the CCPs related to maintenance.
- Managing the performance of all team members of all units related to Maintenance.
- Any other task as per Management request.
Profile Prerequisites:
- Bachelor of Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field, from which at least two in a supervision role.
- English is a must. French would be a plus.
- Flexible on schedule and working hours.
- Responsible, with developed common sense.
