Position Summary
Responsible for growing the client base of OMT by identifying and building strong relationships with new customers who are interested in OMT’s services and products.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Client Interface & Account Management
• Identifies and prioritize prospects based on pre-set selection criteria and develops trust and business relationships with them
• Approaches potential customers (visits, emails, calls, etc.) to promote the subject services and products
• Identifies cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
• Conducts customer segmentation based on the leads derived from each potential customer
• Maintains close relationship with existing and potential strategic billers through continuous follow up calls, meetings, etc.
• Liaises billers’ requirements regarding the modification of solutions and services
• Prepares and conducts high quality presentations that would describe the business services, value proposition, and competitive advantage of OMT
• Negotiates commercial and technical terms to finalize agreements
• Closes deals by reviewing contractual agreements, addressing customers comments, until agreement is signed by both authorized parties
Other Business Development activities
• Conducts market research and monitors competitors’ activities, generates market insights
• Participates in improvement initiatives and internal projects within the Business Development department
Portfolio Analysis & Reporting
• Prepares regular reports to monitor, evaluate and follow up on leads / prospects, sales indicators, market intelligence, transactions volumes, etc.
• Provides historical records by maintaining a comprehensive data of the activities carried out
• Analyses sales and business development trends, evaluates results and recommends action plans
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualifications:
University Degree in Business Administration, Economics or any related field
Masters degree is a plus
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in English and Arabic; French is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with high proficiency in PowerPoint
Demonstrable client interface experience, business development, account management, commercial management
Strong business acumen
Relevant Experience:
5 to 7 years of experience in corporate sales and account management
