Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Facility Manager at SMS Urban Management in Beirut. The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of properties, managing facilities staff, implementing safety and security measures, and ensuring smooth functioning of all facility processes.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce repair costs.
• Manage facility budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses, to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Supervise maintenance staff to ensure work is completed on time and to the required standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any issues or potential hazards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, as well as equipment inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
• Oversee the procurement of supplies and equipment necessary for facility operations.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, suppliers, and service providers
Qualifications
- Facility Management, Property Management, and Operations Management skills
- Strong knowledge of safety and security protocols
- Experience in managing facilities staff and coordinating maintenance activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects
- Experience in real estate or property development is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field
