Production Shift Leader

Qualifications:


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in a food production environment, preferably in the chocolate or confectionery industry.
  • Proven experience in managing a team within a manufacturing setup, specifically with continuous production lines.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, particularly in a 24/6 production environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple shifts.
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  • In-depth understanding of quality control procedures, especially in food safety standards like HACCP.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production-related issues, including machinery and process challenges.
  • Familiarity with production management software and tools specific to the food industry.
  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, particularly during peak production times.


Certifications:

  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or relevant food production certifications is an advantage.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the production floor in a chocolate factory environment.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends as needed, in a continuous production setting.

  • Proactive approach to managing production challenges and optimizing processes.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in production schedules and demands, particularly during peak seasons.
