Astral Agricultural is currently seeking a qualified Technical Commercial Engineer for a key position within our organization. We invite applications from candidates who meet the following criteria:


Educational Qualifications

Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Soil Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s or higher degree is a plus.


Experience

  • Relevant Experience: Practical experience in agricultural engineering, particularly with land assessment, soil analysis, and agricultural project management (2 to 5 years of relevant agricultural experience).
  • Project Experience: Proven track record of working on similar projects, including land assessments, irrigation systems, or agricultural infrastructure.
  • Greenhouse Installations: Hands-on experience with designing, installing, and managing greenhouse systems, including the setup of automated irrigation and ventilation.
  • Climate Control: Expertise in climate control systems within agricultural environments, with knowledge of how to regulate temperature, humidity, and airflow to optimize crop production.
  • Technical Sales Experience: Experience in providing technical consultation and sales services for agricultural equipment and systems, with a demonstrated ability to understand and respond to customer needs.


Skills

  • Climate Control Systems: Ability to operate and maintain climate control systems to ensure optimal growing conditions in greenhouses and other controlled environments.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze soil samples, interpret data, and use various software tools for modeling and simulation.
  • Surveying: Experience with land surveying techniques and tools.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Strong sales skills, including negotiation tactics, technical product presentations, and client relationship management.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of market trends and strategies in agricultural systems, with an ability to develop proposals and sales presentations.

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in measurements and analysis to ensure accurate assessments.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions for land and agricultural challenges, especially within greenhouse environments.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other professionals, such as agronomists, environmental scientists, and land planners.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic: Essential for communication with both local and international clients and partners.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD for technical drawings and project presentations.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Saturday, 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
