Financial Controller

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
  2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  3. Prepare data analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
  4. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  5. Support month-end and year-end close process.
  6. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  7. Evaluate and manage risk.
  8. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal and external controls.
  9. Develop plans for financial growth.
  10. Additional controller duties as necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • BA degree with a Master degree in Finance or relevant field.
  • 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
  • CFA, CPA/LACPA or CMA are a plus .
  • Microsoft office, and ERP knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Ability to travel for missions abroad.
  • High communication and presentation skills.
  • Good written and spoken English, Arabic and French.
