ZUHAIR MURAD is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Officer to support international wholesale development and oversee distribution of Ready-to-Wear and Bridal lines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a deep understanding of the luxury fashion industry.
Responsibilities
Wholesale & Client Relations:
- Assist the Commercial Director in meetings with buyers and manage order placements during sales campaigns.
- Review buyer orders for approval based on past purchase history and quantities.
- Prepare sales and risk reports, providing insights on seasonal orders.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding delivery schedules, payments, and order status.
- Address customer complaints and provide product recommendations to meet client needs.
Order & Inventory Management:
- Oversee order processing and ensure timely coordination between production and distribution.
- Manage stock levels and re-order requests, while handling product availability inquiries.
- Monitor excess inventory and strategize to minimize cancellations and move stock.
E-Commerce Support:
- Handle client inquiries and assist with product selection for online purchases.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure data accuracy across the e-commerce platform.
- Coordinate with Accounting and Logistics for invoicing and shipping operations.
Market Insights & Reporting:
- Provide post-campaign reports on sales performance, analyzing key trends and product styles.
- Collaborate with the Communications Department on pricing, product positioning, and best-seller insights.
- Track competitor activities and market performance to ensure competitive positioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with up to three years of related experience in the luxury industry.
- Fluency in Arabic, French, and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of fashion industry trends and market analysis.
