Responsibilities

-Provide guidance, training, and support to the underwriting team.

-Monitor the quality of underwriting decisions to maintain profitability and manage risk exposure.

-Implement strategies to optimize the portfolio's profitability.

-Build and maintain relationships with business developers, and other key stakeholders.

-Ensure that underwriting practices adhere to legal and regulatory standards.

-Utilize data and analytics to assess risk and make informed underwriting decisions.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Sciences, Insurance, or other related fields.

-Master’s degree is a plus.

-CII Certificate is a plus.

Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Technical skills

Risk Assessment, Underwriting Guidelines, and Data Analysis.

Behavioral skills

Leadership Skills, Communication Skills, Negotiation Skills, Time Management, and Collaboration.
