Role Description
UPO has an opportunity for a Business Manager-Consumer Care Diagnostics. The role involves overseeing and managing the Consumer Care Diagnostics unit, collaborating with key stakeholders, and driving business growth and operational performance.
Responsibilities
· Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for the business unit in alignment with company direction and strategy.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by managing the account effectively
· Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
· Lead the team by setting clear objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), fostering their professional development and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
· Prepare and present quarterly business review to the upper management and to principles when required.
· Formulate innovative strategies for product launches, ensuring successful market penetration and growth.
· Oversee financial planning, budgeting and reporting for the business unit. This includes the creation and management of annual budgets, closely monitoring sales performance and the execution of marketing initiatives.
· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the Principal company, collaborating closely with the Department Manager to ensure alignment of strategies and objectives.
· Foster talent development within the team, identifying and nurturing key talents to drive organizational success.
· Establish and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to enhance brand visibility and credibility within the industry.
· Monitor and optimize profitability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed.
· Ensure strict adherence to company compliance rules and regulations in all activities conducted by the team, maintaining ethical standards and integrity at all times.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team, encouraging proactive problem-solving and knowledge sharing.
· Close follow up with supply chain to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize stockouts.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Consumer Health, healthcare, or related industry
- Experience in marketing, and sales and managing clients accounts
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
- Proven track record in business unit management and operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data, trends, and market insights
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Business Administration or relevant field
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry
- Previous experience in consumer care diagnostics is a plus
