The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring a high standard of customer service, product quality, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for coffee and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Operations: Manage daily operations to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality service. Needs (coffee, croissant, muffin, cold sandwiches, beverages...).
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop staff. Foster a positive work environment and motivate employees to deliver exceptional service.
• Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained. Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and effectively.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely deliveries and stock availability.
• Financial Management: Monitor and manage the shop’s budget, including payroll, expenses, and sales. Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Quality Control: Ensure the quality of food and beverages meets company standards. Implement procedures for food safety and cleanliness.
• Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate on marketing initiatives to promote the coffee shop, attract new customers, and enhance the brand image.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales, staff performance, and customer feedback. Provide insights and recommendations to upper management.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of management experience in a food service or retail environment, preferably in a coffee shop or café.
• Skills:
o Strong leadership and team management skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Proficient in financial management and inventory control.
o Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and beverage preparation.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
