Job Summary

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a transformational and visionary Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the assessment, design, and implementation of warehouse automation. The ideal candidate will manage and mentor warehouse staff, oversee inventory and logistics, and ensure the efficient handling of delicate food products within a 1200 square meter facility that accommodates around 2500 items, including dry and frozen foods. The current team consists of 6 drivers and a warehouse assistant, providing an immediate opportunity to grow and shape the team by hiring an additional assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current warehouse operations and develop strategic plans for automation and process improvements.
• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, and employee coordination.
• Implement cutting-edge automation systems to optimize operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Design and maintain an organized warehouse layout that maximizes space utilization and ensures proper storage conditions for various food products.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff, emphasizing adherence to safety protocols and the highest standards in food handling.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse management and automation implementation, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse technologies, including inventory management systems and material handling equipment.
