We deliver end-to-end solutions that result in revolutionary work. Who we're looking for: VML Beirut is looking for a Social Media Analyst, specializing in Social Listening and Channel Performance. The Social Media Analyst will play a strategic role in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing a company's social media presence. This position involves interpreting online conversations, evaluating the effectiveness of various social media channels, and informing and enhancing marketing strategies. What you'll be doing: Monitor Social Media Platforms: Track discussions, trends, and relevant mentions across social media channels to gather data on brand mentions, competitor behavior, and industry trends. Analyze Social Media Data: Utilize advanced analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from social data to guide content creation, customer engagement, and overall marketing strategy. Report Findings: Produce detailed reports and presentations that communicate findings and strategic recommendations to internal teams and clients. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with marketing, communications, and product development teams to integrate social insights into broader strategies and initiatives. Stay Updated: Continuously keep up with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to refine monitoring and analysis processes. Identify Influencers and Brand Advocates: Recognize key influencers and brand advocates to foster partnerships and enhance brand visibility. Crisis Management: Detect potential PR crises early by monitoring negative sentiments and escalating issues to appropriate teams for timely resolution. Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors' social media activities to identify opportunities and threats, informing strategic decisions. Customer Feedback Integration: Collect and analyze customer feedback from social channels to inform product development and improve customer satisfaction. Trend Identification: Monitor emerging trends and topics within the industry to keep the company ahead of market shifts and consumer interests. Evaluate Channel Performance: Assess the effectiveness of various social media channels by analyzing KPIs such as engagement rates, reach, impressions, and conversion metrics. Optimize Content Strategies: Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize content strategies, ensuring alignment with audience preferences and maximizing engagement. Benchmarking: Establish performance benchmarks and conduct regular assessments to measure progress and identify areas for improvement. ROI Analysis: Calculate the return on investment (ROI) for social media initiatives to determine their effectiveness in achieving business objectives. What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Analytics, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in social media analysis, social listening, or digital marketing. Proficiency in social listening and analytics platforms (preferably Sprinklr). Strong data analysis and interpretation skills. Knowledge of social media KPIs and reporting tools. Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable with a strong work ethic. Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. Knowledge of competitive analysis and content marketing strategies.
