Role Requirements:
- Experience and Background:
- Previous experience in high-end or luxury hotels, restaurants, or hospitality establishments is preferred.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, such as waiter/waitress, host/hostess, or server, is an asset.
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette, menu details, and wine pairing is highly desirable.
2.Service Skills and Personality:
- Professionalism in Service: Must be able to anticipate and meet guest needs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Positive Body Language: Friendly, approachable, and polite demeanor, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of F&B Menu: In-depth knowledge of the hotel’s menu and beverages, with the ability to confidently answer questions and make recommendations.
- Up-selling Skills: Ability to subtly upsell additional services and menu items in a professional manner to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
3.Technical Skills:
- Experience using POS (Point of Sale) systems for order entry and billing.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, including food allergies and dietary restrictions.
- Ability to manage guest complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.
4.Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and carry trays or large orders.
- Stamina to work in a busy, fast-paced environment, particularly during peak mealtimes.
