Linguist (Freelance Position)

Employment: Contract
The Language Platform (TLP) is seeking skilled linguists to join its team on a freelance basis.

The linguist assumes different linguistic functions, with a focus on translation (2,000 to 2,500 words per day), proofreading (6,000 to 8,000 words per day), editing and copywriting (per-job calculation).

Functional Prerequisites

• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in a similar role;
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation or relevant discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Personal Competencies

• Self-motivated, with a strong sense of professionalism and professional ethics;
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Note: Rate will be determined based on experience and on the results of the placement test
