Interior Designer

Role Summary:
The Interior Designer will conceptualize, plan, and execute interior spaces that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and aligned with client expectations. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to transform spaces into inspiring environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Development:
Create innovative and functional interior design concepts tailored to client needs.
Develop mood boards, sketches, 2D/3D models, and material palettes for presentation.
Project Planning & Execution:
Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and blueprints using design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design alignment.
Oversee site execution to ensure adherence to approved designs and specifications.
Material Selection:
Research and select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with design intent.
Present and finalize choices with clients, keeping budget and functionality in mind.
Client Collaboration:
Meet with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget.
Present design proposals and refine based on feedback.
Compliance:
Ensure designs comply with safety standards and building codes.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in interior design and project management.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
Skills:

Excellent creative and spatial planning abilities.
Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
