Junior Supply Chain Officer

Job Overview:
The Junior Supply Chain Officer is responsible for executing the supply chain practices in the market and the sourcing of units.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:
- Update and review daily inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels per supplier to ensure healthy stock-days, following objectives set by superiors.
- Issue Store-to-Store transfers to balance stocks between stores.
- Maintain product availability in stores by coordinating with store teams on low, out-of-stock (OOS), and overstock items.
- Ensure that stock levels in the central warehouse and stores align, avoiding mix stock issues.
- Prepare and review purchase orders for local suppliers based on the preset daily schedule and stock days frequency.

Stock Control:
- Monitor and take corrective actions on overstock in stores.
- Conduct weekly spot checks in stores to ensure availability on shelves and stock status in backrooms.
- Follow up on pending orders and unreceived items, liaising with suppliers for rescheduled deliveries.
- Ensure stock is well-planned, avoiding out-of-stock, negative stock, or sleeping stock.
- Issue return orders to suppliers for overstocks in stores.
- Analyze current stock in the central warehouse and issue purchase orders to cover store needs.

Promotion and Sales Support:
- Follow up on all promotion cycles, ensuring stores comply with guidelines and actions set by the commercial team.
- Coordinate with the commercial team on prices, promotion opportunities, and stock issues with suppliers.
- Follow up on promotion-related stock orders, ensuring deliveries are completed on time before promotions begin.
- Review and analyze sales during promotion periods, generating repeated orders as necessary.

Supplier Coordination:
- Follow up with suppliers on out-of-stock items and upcoming shipments to meet company needs.
- Negotiate with suppliers for better deals, such as Free of Charge (FOC) items or price reviews.
- Negotiate with suppliers on end-of-month targets to achieve incentive brackets set by superiors.

Qualifications:
- Experience in a related field is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any related field
