Vacancy A private port located in North region is seeking to recruit a Marine Engineer for its tugboat.
Candidate must have a Marine Mechanical Engineering degree with at least 5 years of experience in working onboard naval boats
Main job responsibilities:
-Management and supervision of the engine room staff and oversees the maintenance, operation, and repair of all electrical, mechanical, and structural systems onboard the tugboat
- Updating systems and procedures to increase efficiency and safety onboard.
- Maintaining detailed records of operations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Implementing energy-saving measures to optimize fuel consumption.
- Supervising the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Ensuring compliance with maritime safety and pollution laws
