Role & Responsibilities
Data Collection: Collate, clean, filter and organise large volumes of data prior to analysis from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs. Use existing R scripts and aid in coding, analysing and collating survey data.
Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Use statistical techniques to analyze data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
Data Visualization: Create clear and visually appealing charts, graphs, and reports to present data findings. Use data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to present complex information in a simplified manner.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular data quality checks and resolving any inconsistencies or errors.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders. Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting systems to a various of audiences. Preparing reports that are both objective and accessible to read.
Collaboration Work: Work with Culture Coach and other departments such as customer success, marketing and list department and sales to ensure the quality of the data for further analyses and products. Assist senior members on ad hoc projects as assigned.
Data Analysis: Analyse data (descriptive and inferential statistical analysis; applying appropriate statistical, tests to establish the significance of results; thematic analysis of qualitative data).
Data Research: Assist with research and find interesting data or trends that Great Place to Work can analyse and present in new and productive ways.
Problem Solving: Assist in solving business problems by leveraging data analysis techniques. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Research and Learning: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis. Continuously develop skills in areas such as statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning.
Qualification
University degree and above. Preferably a degree in a numerate discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Quantitative Psychology or equivalent qualification)
Experience
3-5 years experience in data analysis role.
Data cleaning, data manipulation and data linkage.
Descriptive, inferential and multivariate statistical analysis.
Data visualisation.
Interpreting and presenting complex statistical data and analysis to different audiences.
Statistical analysis software such as R, Python, SPSS and/or STATA.
Skill
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets and extract meaningful insights. Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, or R. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify data inconsistencies or anomalies.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines.
Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies and adapt to changing business needs.
