Position:

Graphic Designer


Overview:

We are seeking a creative Graphic Designer to join our team and support the implementation of the Abdulla Al Ghurair Hub for Digital Teaching and Learning’s marketing strategy. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visuals, designing publications (such as reports, proposals, factsheets, etc) working on videos, designing digital marketing kits (developing engaging editorial content and visuals for social media posts), and maintaining the website UX/UI.

You will work collaboratively with other members of the team to promote the hub's world-class online programs and overall mission.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related design discipline (Communication Design, Marketing, UX/UI design, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to understand and take into consideration the contexts and audiences for which communication is intended.
  • Strong skills in refining, editing, and finalizing visuals based on decisions taken by the team.
  • Ability to prepare final artwork for digital social campaigns
  • Knowledge of web publishing software (SharePoint, WordPress).
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media is a plus.
  • Experience in video editing.
  • A high degree of organization skills, and readiness to follow up on various tasks.
  • Strong self-motivation, drive, and willingness to propose different outlooks and visual directions.
