Position Overview

Based at BanoPuratos in Bshamoun, we are currently seeking a:

Learning & Development Specialist

(Lebanon)

Learning and Development Specialist will coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate the training needs that enable employees to perform the objectives and support the organization’s strategic initiative. The first and the most of role are about developing and engaging employees, defining, and retaining our talents.

Key Accountabilities

Training Program Development:

  • Design and develop training programs, workshops, and seminars tailored to the needs of the region.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective training content.

Training Delivery:

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for employees across the region.
  • Ensure that training delivery methods are engaging, inclusive, and effective.

Needs Assessment:

  • Conduct regular training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Analyze performance data and feedback to determine areas for improvement.

Training Plan Preparation and Development:

  • Develop comprehensive training plans that align with organizational goals and address identified training needs.
  • Outline the objectives, methods, and timelines for each training initiative within the plan.
  • Coordinate with regional leaders to ensure the training plan meets the strategic priorities of the region.

Evaluation and Improvement:

  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and feedback.
  • Continuously improve training content and delivery methods based on evaluation results.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with regional leaders and HR partners to align training initiatives with business objectives.
  • Communicate training schedules, opportunities, and outcomes to employees and management.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure that all training programs comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the training budget for the region, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Identify and recommend external training providers and resources as needed.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on training design and delivery.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with experience in both in-person and virtual environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTD) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the region when required.
