Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Car Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems in vehicles, enabling them to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex electro-mechanical components efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose & Repair Vehicle Systems:
- Perform diagnosis and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systems in cars, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, powertrains, and air conditioning systems.
- Inspect, test, and repair components such as electric motors, alternators, starters, sensors, batteries, and other key electro-mechanical parts.
- Maintenance & Installation:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical and mechanical vehicle components.
- Install new electro-mechanical components or retrofit vehicles with upgraded parts as necessary.
- Electrical Wiring & Circuitry:
- Repair or replace damaged wiring, fuses, relays, and connectors in the vehicle's electrical system.
- Ensure proper installation and functionality of electrical circuits, including those for lighting, HVAC, and other systems.
- Mechanical Repairs:
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems including suspension, steering, brakes, engine components, and more.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess mechanical system health.
- System Calibration & Testing:
- Calibrate and test mechanical systems and electrical components to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize testing equipment to confirm that systems meet manufacturer specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. A technical diploma in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with electro-mechanical systems in automobiles.
Preferred Qualifications:
· French and English are a must
