French Pastry Chef

SmushKies Head Pastry Chef will be a key position in the Organization and a vital position in the brand growth and the success of the operation. The position’s job description is based on the following KPIs & Criteria:
Bakery & Pastry Section Management & Development:
 Team building & team management.
 Setting Rules and Regulations to be followed by the team to ensure efficiency and productivity of the team.
 Prepare weekly staff schedule.
 Direct and handle the pastry and baking functions of our Central Kitchen.
 Manage the production of all our daily Bakery & Pastry Items.
 Able to recognize superior quality products, presentations, and flavors.
 Ensure all Kitchen orders are being prepared on time and as per customers’ request.
 Assist in creating new ideas and new creative touches to our pastry menu.
 Ensure a proper Mise-en-place is being done.
 Keep record of daily production for all branches.
 Prepare Purchase Orders for all Raw Material needed on a weekly basis.
 Making sure baking equipment, utensils, and tools are maintained clean by the cleaning crew.
 Report any maintenance requests to Operations Manager
