Pricing Manager
Position Summary: As a Pricing Manager at Brand and Beyond, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate pricing, efficient product distribution, and effective communication with the Replenishment Department. Your primary responsibilities will involve receiving goods, determining appropriate pricing strategies, assigning tasks to team members, and closely monitoring all aspects of pricing and distribution. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
1. Goods Reception:
• Receive incoming merchandise shipments, verifying their accuracy and condition.
• Ensure all received goods are properly documented and logged into the inventory system.
• Collaborate with the Replenishment Department to communicate any discrepancies or issues with received goods.
2. Pricing Strategy:
• Develop pricing strategies for various product categories based on market research, competitor analysis, and cost considerations.
• Determine optimal pricing levels to maximize sales and profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
• Regularly review and adjust prices based on market trends, seasonality, and product lifecycle.
3. Task Distribution:
• Assign tasks related to pricing, labeling, and product distribution to the team members.
• Provide clear instructions and guidelines to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Monitor progress, provide guidance, and address any challenges or questions from team members.
4. Inventory Management:
• Work closely with the Inventory Management team to ensure accurate stock levels and availability of products.
• Collaborate with the Replenishment Department to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate regular reports on pricing, sales performance, and inventory metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in pricing strategies and distribution processes.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar pricing or inventory management role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed pricing decisions.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
