Job Overview


We are seeking an Operations Manager who will oversee inventory and delivery operations, including the management of both in-house and third-party logistics services. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of Lebanese areas to plan and optimize delivery routes effectively and is critical for ensuring our stock levels are accurately maintained.


Key Responsibilities


  • Purchase Order Management: Manage weekly purchase orders and invoicing.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain warehouse organization and ensure products are managed using a FIFO system. Perform and oversee a quarterly major stocktake to verify inventory accuracy and assess the need for adjustments.
  • Staff Management: Hire and oversee a team of drivers, managing delivery operations across expanding zones. Cover for dispatch and pick-and-pack team members during their vacations.
  • Operational Planning: Strategize and implement delivery zone expansions.
  • Demand Forecasting: Conduct quarterly product demand forecasting to adjust inventory and purchasing strategies.
  • Delivery Team Training: Regularly conduct follow-ups and provide customer service training to the delivery team.
  • Customer Service Coordination: Work closely with the customer service team to ensure customer demands are met and to handle conflict resolution effectively.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure inventory levels are adequately maintained for upcoming marketing campaigns.
  • Team Coverage: Provide coverage for team members within the dispatch and pick-and-pack teams during their absence.
  • Returns Management: Oversee the entire customer order returns process, ensuring it is efficient and customer-friendly.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with third-party logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery services in areas not covered by our internal team.
  • Route Planning: Utilize extensive knowledge of Lebanese areas to efficiently and effectively plan and optimize driver routes, ensuring timely deliveries and minimizing travel time.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in operations management, ideally in retail or e-commerce.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with customer service and returns management preferred.
  • Familiarity with logistics and third-party coordination is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lebanese geographical areas and proven ability to plan efficient driving routes.
