Associate Finance Manager


We are seeking an Associate Finance Manager to oversee the financial and accounting operations of Spring Communications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and a solid understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards. 

They will manage accounting processes, monitor accounting and financial data, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and financial reporting.


Main responsibilities

-        Approve accounting transactions (outsourced bookkeeping) as per Lebanese and International Accounting Standards; and overseeing a multi-country/entities system (Lebanon, UAE, France and UK).

-        Processes client invoices and job costing, and salaries in Dolphin system (software design)

-        Ensure timely closing of accounts on monthly and quarterly basis

-        Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.

-        Responsible for yearly budget preparation, and budget tracking

-        Responsible for timely periodical financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, project/client analysis)

-        Responsible for various cost and financial analysis as per management requirements

-        Payments and cash-flow management forecasting.

-        Coordinate and support external audit firm in their yearly financial audit 

-        Stay informed of industry best practices and changes in financial regulations, proactively implementing necessary updates and improvements.

-        Prepare and follow up on tax matters and periodical fiscal filing (VAT, payroll taxes, social security, income taxes, in various countries)

-        Ability/experience to work on multiple companies’ setup

-        Develop and execute strategies to improve financial operations, such as implementing new technologies or process enhancements.

-        Work closely with program managers, community management team and creatives to ensure a smooth job workflow, efficient procurement and vendors relations.

Main Qualifications

-        University degree in Accounting or Finance

-        CMA or accounting certificate is an asset

-        5 - 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance with SMEs.

-        Excellent knowledge of the English language

-        Very good knowledge of accounting software packages, preferably Dolphin

-        Very good knowledge of Office applications and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
