Wins, retains and develops Business Customers in BC segment. Targets existing and new customers and generates additional revenue by increasing share of wallet and by selling value added services. Gathers customer and market information to build a customer prospect database.
- Meet and exceed all sales KPI’s as directed by the Sales and Marketing organization.
- Use a strategic sales planner to optimize time management and reach out to customers via phone.
- Secure new customers who have not previously used DHL.
- Upsell additional services to the existing client base to increase volume and sales revenue.
- Continually prospect and qualify new customers.
- Generate sales leads using company provided resources as well as from your own development.
- Incorporate the daily use of the Global CRM platform to document sales activity and relevant customer business details.
- Support ad-hoc sales development campaigns to drive increased sales.
- Collaborate with all sales channels and resources including Business Development, Product leaders, and all others needed to shorten the selling cycle and close business.
- Good understanding of sector issues in the global forwarding industry and knowledge&experience with customers.
- Min 2 years customer management experience & sales background (Air&Ocean Freight) is strongly preferred.
- University degree from related departments.
- Good command in English (written&spoken)
- Proficiency in MS Office.
