Quality Control Officer (from 9pm till 5am)

**Job Title:** Quality Control Officer (Night shift – from 9 pm till 5 am)

**Reports To:** Quality Control Manager

**Job Summary:**

The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of the food and beverage production process. This role involves inspecting products, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

 **Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Quality Assurance:**

- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production facilities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

- Monitor and evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

- Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards.

2. **Regulatory Compliance:**

- Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Stay updated with changes in food safety laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to the relevant departments.

- Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.

3. **Process Improvement:**

- Identify areas for improvement in the production process to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

- Develop and implement corrective actions to resolve non-compliance issues.

- Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes and reduce waste.

4. **Training and Development:**

- Train staff on quality control procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.

- Develop and update training materials and quality control manuals.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness among employees.

 **Qualifications:**

- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.

- **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the food and beverage industry.

- **Certifications:** HACCP, ISO 22000, is a plus.

- **Skills:**

- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficient in using quality control software and laboratory equipment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
