Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at MEPEQ Integration in Beirut. The Accountant will be responsible for

• day-to-day financial tasks,
• managing accounts,
• preparing financial statements,
• analyzing financial data.
• Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
• Processing tax payments and returns
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Publish financial statements in time
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

Additionally, the Accountant will collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Work experience as an Accountant for at least 3 years
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Experience in managing accounts and preparing financial statements
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
• Proficiency in ODOO
• Financial Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Analysis skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CFA certification is a plus
