Objective/Summary

The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations of the retail branch, managing salespeople, cashiers, receptionists,). This role is responsible for ensuring the branch meets sales targets, provides excellent customer service, and operates efficiently.

 Essential Functions

·        Oversee daily operations within the branch, ensuring efficient and smooth execution of all sales, service, and administrative activities.

·        Manage and lead the branch Staff, including Salespeople, Cashiers and Billing, Receptionists.

·        Provide coaching, guidance, and support to ensure each team member performs their duties effectively and meets performance targets.

·        Set and monitor sales targets for the branch, working with the Salespeople to ensure they meet or exceed their goals.

·        Develop strategies to boost sales and improve overall branch performance.

·        Ensure that customer service is a top priority at the branch, providing a seamless experience from initial greeting by Receptionists to product selection with Salespeople and checkout with Cashiers.

·        Ensure that product displays are well-maintained, visually appealing, and reflect current sales and promotional activities.

·        Ensure that stock is replenished regularly and the showroom layout maximizes sales opportunities.

·        Track the performance of the branch through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales figures, customer satisfaction scores, and staff productivity.

·        Provide regular reports to the Retail Sales Manager on branch performance.

·        Collaborate with the Warehouse and Display teams to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained. Coordinate inventory replenishment as needed to support sales and customer demand.

·        Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any issues or feedback to ensure a positive and loyal customer base. Utilize customer data to improve branch offerings and services.

·        Leadership Skills: Strong leadership ability to manage and motivate a diverse team, including sales, customer service, and operational staff, ensuring they work cohesively to meet branch goals.

·        Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of retail sales processes with the ability to set realistic targets, develop strategies, and monitor performance to achieve and exceed sales goals.

·        Customer Service Orientation: Focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring that all customer touchpoints are managed effectively.

·        Financial and Operational Management: Strong skills in managing branch financials, including budgeting, expense tracking, and ensuring the accuracy of transactions processed by Cashiers.

·        Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly identify and resolve branch-level operational challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to customer service or sales performance.

·        Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and teams simultaneously, ensuring smooth branch operations.

·        Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing staff, collaborating with other departments, and reporting to senior management.

·        Team Development: Proven ability to train, coach, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance, ensuring continuous improvement within the branch.

Work Environment

The job is conducted in a retail branch setting, with direct interaction with customers and branch staff.

Required Education and Experience

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.

·        Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in management role.

·        Experience in managing a team of sales, customer service, and administrative staff.
