Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Developer to lead the expansion of Sleep Comfort’s product lines—mattresses and furniture—into new markets across the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the furniture or mattress industry, with a strong understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and distribution channels in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Strategy Development:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other Middle Eastern countries.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop entry strategies for each target market.
New Business Acquisition:
Identify and establish relationships with distributors, retailers, and other partners in the furniture and mattress sectors.
Build a pipeline of opportunities and negotiate contracts to establish a foothold in new markets.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals for new markets.
Create and execute a sales plan to ensure consistent growth.
Partnerships & Networking:
Develop partnerships with industry stakeholders, trade organizations, and government agencies to facilitate market entry.
Represent Sleep Comfort at trade shows, expos, and networking events in the region.
Brand Representation & Awareness:
Collaborate with the marketing team to adapt and localize marketing materials for Middle Eastern markets.
Drive brand awareness through strategic marketing initiatives tailored to regional audiences.
Operational Support:
Work closely with logistics and production teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations for international markets.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, certifications, and quality standards for products in the target countries.
Reporting & Analysis:
Provide regular updates and detailed reports on market performance, sales, and business development activities.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in business development or sales, preferably in the furniture or mattress industry.
Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of Middle Eastern markets, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait.
Skills:
Proven ability to develop and execute market entry strategies.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
Language: Fluency in Arabic and English is essential; French is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Travel: Willingness to travel frequently across the Middle East.
