Job Description:
As a Junior IT Support, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues and provide essential support to ensure smooth IT operations. You will work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot problems, maintain systems, and assist end-users with their technical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Set up and configure computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of software applications.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
• Support the IT team with system updates, backups, and security measures.
• Guide users on basic IT procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
• A BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong team player attitude with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to team objectives.
• Familiarity with Windows / Windows server, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts is a plus.
Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with help desk software or ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of remote support tools
