Job Summary:
Under the general guidance and the supervision of the Front Office Supervisor & Front Office Manager and within the limits of the established CASA D’OR Hotel Policies and Procedures, responsible for taking part in all activities related to the bell service such as, but not restricted to, handling guest luggage, parking, keeping hotel entrance tide and clean, running errands and delivery of guests parcels or messages.


Duties and Responsibilities:
1- Open hotel main doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property.
2- Greet all guests at the main entrance politely and courteously and guides them towards the reception desk.
3- Assist guests with their luggage for both check in and check out.
4- Carries guests’ luggage to the room upon check in and brings it down upon checkouts.
5- Ensure that luggage has been stored safely.
6- Briefs guest on usage of light switches, TV, Radio, Mini bar and Telephone facilities in the room.
7- Controls usage of luggage room.
8- Provide gracious and friendly service.
9- Keeping lobby area neat and orderly.
10- Make deliveries to guest rooms as instructed.
11- Participating in-group and crew luggage handling distribution and collection.
12- Delivers newspapers, parcels and message promptly.
13- Escort guest attending functions to function area.
14- Engages in moving luggage from one room to the other in the case of a room change
15- Attend guests’ needs and queries and refers complaints to supervisor.
16- Must be well groomed, maintain a high standard of personal appearance & hygiene at all times.
17- Be prompt and efficient at all times & avoid any unnecessary absence and sick leave.
18- Be aware of the work schedule, to be punctual and giving adequate notice if serious circumstances prevents adherence to the schedule.
19- Should never speak in a loud voice especially in the native language in the public areas.
20- Do not leave your working areas without prior approval of your Supervisor or Department Head.
21- To attend any training sessions as required.
22- To be fully conversant with the Hotel Fire and Emergency operations
23- To know and follow health and safety Policies
24- To comply with any reasonable instructions issued by management
25- To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
26- To adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times
