The role of the Project Engineer is to plan, execute, and deliver construction projects according to strict deadlines and
within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party
contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Engineer will also oversee quality
control throughout its life cycle. The candidate should interpret design drawings and supervise their execution according
to the program of works.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Core duties items:
1- Procurement Phase:
 Preparation of Procurement List
 Check BOQ prices (and potential Savings)
 Ensure that sub-contractors have clearly understood their scope and needed details and their offers
include what is required
 Get Revised offers based on above
 Preparation of work orders
2- Execution Phase:
 Prepare schedule for projects and updating them and highlight any delay
 Handling all coordination and supervision of site works
 Correspondences
 Meetings with owners and consultants
 Follow-up with sub-contractors
 Delivery notes and Invoices checking. PE should:

i. Check the content of the invoices (calculations to be checked by accountant)
ii. Set the cost elements on the invoices
iii. Prepare all payments to suppliers and submit it to PA for approval.

 Weekly reports preparation
 Checking Daily reports and labor schedules prepared by General Foreman. PE should:

i. Check the presence of the workers on the daily and weekly reports (total calculations to be
checked by accountant)
ii. Set the cost elements related to the works

 Minutes of meeting preparation
 VO Preparation (costs and price) to be done by
 Procurement during the project (mostly related to Vos and new works) to be done and checked with Paul
(for all lots which value is less than $1,500)
 QS and Payment Certificate preparation, including summary sheet, and checked with Paul in order to send
it to Client
 Preparation of Cost Control table at end of project

Other duties items:
3- Tendering:
 Site visits
 BOQ preparation (if needed)
 Preparation of list for tendering
 Sending request for quotations
 Pricing
 Preparing notes to be added to offer
 Prepare additional documents and plans for clarification (if needed)

SKILLS
 Good technical experience in finishing and concrete
 Very dynamic
 Good communication skills and presentable / Ensure customer satisfaction
 Organized with Follow up skills
 Disciplined and used to follow procedures
 Computer skills: MS Office, Autocad & MS Project
 Good command in English
EDUCATION
Civil Engineer or Architect
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in site management
