Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our team. The ideal candidate must have expertise in making croissants, éclairs, macarons, and cakes, ensuring high quality, consistency, and creativity in every product. You will work closely with the pastry team to produce exquisite pastries while maintaining efficiency and adhering to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Pastry & Dessert Preparation:
Prepare and bake high-quality croissants, éclairs, macarons, cakes, and other pastries following precise recipes and techniques.
Ensure consistency in texture, flavor, and presentation for all baked goods.
Assist in developing new recipes and seasonal pastry offerings.

2. Kitchen Organization & Efficiency:
Manage daily production schedules and ensure timely execution of all pastry items.
Maintain stock levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and availability.
Monitor inventory, minimize waste, and optimize ingredient usage.

3. Quality Control & Presentation:
Ensure that all pastries meet high presentation and taste standards.
Follow plating and display guidelines to maintain brand consistency.
Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products.

4. Hygiene & Food Safety:
Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the pastry section.
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of ingredients and baked goods.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.

5. Team Collaboration & Training:
Work closely with the pastry team and kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Train and mentor junior pastry chefs, assistants, or interns.
Communicate effectively with the Head Pastry Chef regarding production needs.

Requirements:
✔️ Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
✔️ Strong expertise in making croissants, éclairs, macarons, cakes, and other classic pastries.
✔️ Ability to follow precise techniques for laminating dough, tempering chocolate, and making delicate pastry fillings.
✔️ Creativity in developing new dessert presentations and flavors.
✔️ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
✔️ Attention to detail and consistency in product quality.
✔️ Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
✔️ Strong teamwork and communication skills.
✔️ Pastry or culinary degree/certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long hours in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable handling ovens, mixers, and other pastry equipment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25kg
