Oversee the accounting department functions with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting. Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.

- Revises & follows up Suppliers & clients’ accounts.
- Creates &/or amends accounts.
- Supervises junior accounts work.
- Manages payments in cooperation with treasurer.
- Reconciles Bank, brings the bank statement on monthly basis and confirms the balance.
- Performs financial calculations, such as amounts due, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity, and principal.
- Follows-up all out siding points with bank.
- Follows- up with purchasing department on all invoices, confirms amount and company name, and enters data on the system.
- Follows- up all invoices concerning repairs, generator, phone and electricity bills, confirms them and enters data accordingly.
- Controls and checks up data entry of all Fixed Assets invoices from all the departments
- Prints statement of account for all suppliers and confirms the balance preparing for payment.
- Ensures data entry of checks and confirms them according to the statement of account.
- Checks-up the total revenues.
- Deposits cash at the bank daily.
- Audits payroll table to ensure all salaries and deduction are recorded correctly in employees’ accounts.
- Monitors status of loans and accounts to ensure that payments are up to date.
- Reconciles records of bank transactions.
- Compiles budget data and documents, based on estimated revenues and expenses and previous budgets.
- Calculates costs of materials, overhead, and other expenses, based on estimates, quotations and price lists.
- Prepares trial balances of books.
- Maintains inventory records.
- Prepares annual company’s budget, income statement and balance sheet.
- Checks cash van payments & accounts.
- Checks branches payments & accounts.
- Directs insurance negotiations, select insurance brokers or carriers, and place insurance.
- Examines and evaluates financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
- Evaluate taxpayer finances to determine tax liability, using knowledge of interest and discount rates, annuities, valuation of stocks and bonds, and amortization valuation of assets.
- Audits payroll and personnel records to ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Reviews taxpayer accounts, and conduct audits.
- Computes taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
- Taxes declaration to concerned authorities.
- Follows- up all formal invoices, confirms them and enters data accordingly.
- Cooperates in the calculation of Overhead costs and all related accounts.
- Examine inventory to verify journal and ledger entries.
- Evaluates financial reporting systems, accounting or collection procedures, or investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, or other financial control functions
- Reports to general management about the financial situation of the company and make suggestions.
- Undertakes any other reasonable tasks requested by the Management.
Skills
- Bachelor degree in Business Accounting (MBA is a plus)
- Min 10 years’ experience in similar field
- Fluent in Arabic, English
