We are looking for a highly skilled E-Commerce Specialist with extensive Shopify experience to manage and optimize our online store. The role will involve overseeing the entire e-commerce operation, ensuring smooth site functionality, improving customer experience, and driving traffic and conversions. The responsibilities are as follows:
1. Shopify Management:
• Website Creation & Maintenance: Build and manage a fully functional Shopify website, ensuring it is up-to-date with the latest products, promotions, and brand guidelines.
• Product Management: Add new products to the website, update product descriptions, images, and prices, and ensure inventory levels are accurate. Organize products into appropriate categories for easy navigation and add bundles & discounts during specific occasions.
• Promotion Management: Upload and manage promotional content, including time-limited discounts and sales. Implement and manage promo codes to drive sales and customer engagement.
2. Website Optimization:
• Site Performance: Ensure the website is running smoothly, monitor site speed, troubleshoot technical issues, and work with web developers or IT teams for improvements.
• User Experience (UX) Enhancement: Optimize the website layout, navigation, and checkout process to enhance the customer experience. Implement strategies to minimize bounce rates and maximize conversion rates.
3. Analytics and Reporting:
• Data Analysis: Regularly analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Report Generation: Generate and review reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, sales volume, and user engagement to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Optimization Based on Insights: Use the data insights to optimize content, product placement, and overall site structure to improve performance.
4. Digital Marketing:
• SEO & PPC: Implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to drive organic traffic. Collaborate with digital marketeer to set up and manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns.
• Social Media Collaboration: Partner with influencers (with the help of digital marketeer) to develop strategies for driving traffic to the site, including influencer collaborations, social media (Meta) ads & Google ads, and organic social posts.
• Email Marketing: Work with the marketeer to design and send newsletters, promotional emails, and cart abandonment emails to drive traffic and sales.
• Promo Codes and Campaigns: Use promo codes effectively, especially in partnership with influencers or during special promotions, to encourage new customer acquisition and repeat purchases.
5. Customer Experience:
• Customer Service Management: Oversee a customer support team, ensuring any customer inquiries, issues, or complaints are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
• Customer Retention: Develop strategies to retain customers and encourage repeat purchases, such as loyalty programs, personalized recommendations, and targeted email campaigns based on customer behavior.
• Customer Data Platform (CDP): Leverage customer data to understand search habits, interests, and purchase needs, tailoring offers to specific customer segments.
6. Payment Processing and Security:
• Payment Gateways: Manage and optimize payment gateways to ensure smooth and secure transactions.
• Security Compliance: Stay informed about the latest industry regulations regarding online payment security and implement best practices to ensure the safety of customer data.
7. Vendor and Partner Management:
• Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, developers, shipping partners, and other service providers involved in the e-commerce supply chain.
• Collaboration with Influencers: Work with influencers and other external partners to enhance brand visibility, promote exclusive products, and drive traffic to the e-commerce platform.
8. Continuous Learning and Adaptation:
• Market Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
• Adaptation to Changes: Continuously adapt strategies and processes to market changes, competitor activity, and customer preferences to stay relevant and competitive.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience with Shopify platform, including website creation and management.
• Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and digital marketing tactics.
• Excellent ability to analyze and interpret website data and customer behavior.
• Familiarity with customer retention strategies, loyalty programs, and personalized marketing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with an ability to collaborate across teams.
