Procurement Supervisor

The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for managing the purchasing process and ensuring the organization acquires quality goods and services at the best value. This role involves developing procurement strategies, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with company needs and budgetary guidelines while monitoring the availability of Finished goods and Raw material in company’s warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational goals.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and manage a supplier database to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs while monitoring stock levels to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
• Record all purchasing activities in the system adopted by the company to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools. PIMS is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
