Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pizza bases, and savory baked goods, ensuring consistency and quality.
Create and manage doughs, including mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking.
Experiment with and perfect recipes for artisan bread, focaccia, flatbreads, and pizzas.
Select and use high-quality ingredients to achieve the best flavors and textures.
Monitor ovens and other baking equipment to ensure proper baking conditions.
Prepare pizza toppings and assemble pizzas according to recipes or custom orders.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.
Manage inventory, monitor ingredient usage, and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or waste.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a baker with a focus on bread and pizza preparation.
Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques.
Ability to work early morning shifts or flexible hours as required.
Physical stamina to handle standing and working in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
Creativity and attention to detail for crafting appealing baked goods
