Food Safety and Quality Supervisor

Periodically review all food safety procedures and instructions, to ensure they remain current
- Report to the Food Safety Team Leader on the performance of the FSMS and any need for improvement.
- Accountable for safety, food safety, quality and hygiene
- Accountable for ongoing training, monitoring and improving, related to food safety
- Conduct Internal Quality inspection on daily basis.
- Inspection the hygiene of the employees
- Full knowledge and capabilities to perform internal pest control program, location of stations, checking and cleaning of stations, and proper documentation on hand of pest control program
- Full Knowledge follow up of water treatment system in the facility
- Responsible for compliance with ISO & BRC by establishing and enforcing quality standards; testing materials and product
- Properly document and follow all procedures set forth in the frequency guide and standards
- Ability to properly fill out batch reports, calculate variations in batch sizes, proper attributes, standards, and other data required on batch report documented per formula
- Ability to properly measure and follow proper mixing procedures
- Ability to evaluate and troubleshoot batch and make corrections
- Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
- Provide technical assistance to production, sales and clients (when needed)
- Train the production team on new product process
- Responsible for the improvement of a product when quality defects
- Oversee the tasting panel system to ensure standards are maintained to specifications
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of raw material and takes corrective actions
- Provide feedback to the production, purchasing and quality department heads on the performance of the raw materials used
- Coordinates with the Operations Managers
