Patient Orientation Officer

The Patient Orientation Officer will be positionned in key departments/areas in the
hospital, where patient flow organization is critical (e. g medical imaging, laboratory,
admissions, etc.)

Main tasks of the officer are:
 Welcoming and guiding patients
 Orient patients to the appropriate department/desk (e. g registration, diagnostic
areas, etc.)
 Providing information about administrative procedures
 Ensure that the flow of patients inside the department is running correctly in order
to prevent avoidable waiting times
 Act as a liaison between patients and administrative staff
 Adress complaints when necessary in collaboration with the head of concerned
department(s) and the Quality Department
 Encourage patients to fill the hospital satisfaction survey, or voice their feedbacks
through hospital-defined channels

Qualifications
BS (preferably in hospitality/management/healthcare profession)
Two years of experience in related position
Strong command of Arabic, English and French
Excellent communication skills, quick problem solving and ability to work under
pressure, and high empathy
Good computer skills
