Storekeeper – Home Appliances & Furniture Retailer & Wholesaler – Byblos, Lebanon
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and innovative Storekeeper to oversee the management of our home appliances and furniture inventory. Based in Byblos, Lebanon, this role is crucial for ensuring smooth warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and efficient stock movement to support our retail and wholesale business.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations, coupled with an analytical mindset and the ability to optimize storage solutions for bulky and high-value items.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory & Warehouse Management
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using Odoo ERP.
• Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and placement of furniture and appliances for easy access.
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to minimize discrepancies and shrinkage.
• Optimize storage space and racking systems for maximum efficiency.
2. Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
• Coordinate incoming shipments, deliveries, and supplier relations.
• Supervise loading and unloading processes, ensuring safe handling of fragile and bulky items.
• Work closely with transportation teams to ensure timely delivery to stores and customers.
• Manage returns, damaged goods, and warranty claims effectively.
3. Process Optimization & Innovation
• Identify new storage solutions and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Implement automation tools (barcode scanners, RFID systems) to improve accuracy.
• Work with management to forecast demand and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards for home appliances and furniture.
4. Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Supervise and train warehouse staff on best practices.
• Collaborate with retail teams, procurement, and sales to align stock levels with demand.
• Report inventory trends, challenges, and recommendations to management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, or supply chain roles (preferably in home appliances, furniture, or electronics).
• Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, Odoo ERP is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle bulky and fragile items with precision and care.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic & English (French is a plus).
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations and warehouse best practices
