Position Overview
We are looking for a Testing Engineer to join our team at Multilane. This role is key in verifying our electronic hardware systems' functionality, performance, and reliability before mass production. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test procedures, identify issues, and contribute to overall product quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Testing & Validation
- Perform functional, performance, and stress testing on hardware components and PCBAs.
- Validate power, signal integrity, and thermal performance according to design specs.
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware to identify root causes of failures.
✔️ Test Development & Automation
- Create and implement test plans, procedures, and scripts for hardware validation.
- Design automated test setups to streamline and standardize testing processes.
- Operate lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal analyzers.
✔️ Failure Analysis & Debugging
- Diagnose hardware issues, including PCB failures, power anomalies, and component defects.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to propose solutions and improvements.
- Document findings with detailed root cause analysis.
✔️ Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with engineering, production, and supplier teams to resolve challenges.
- Maintain thorough records of test data, anomalies, and corrective actions.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve design for manufacturability and reliability.
✔️ Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure hardware meets internal quality benchmarks and industry/regulatory standards.
- Support certification processes by supplying testing data and documentation.
Skills
Required Qualifications & Experience
???? Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related engineering field.
????️ Technical Skills
- Proficient in hardware testing and debugging techniques.
- Familiar with oscilloscopes, logic/spectrum analyzers, and other lab equipment.
- Understanding of PCB design, power electronics, and signal integrity.
- Ability to read datasheets, schematics, and technical reports.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated testing and scripting tools (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, USB, Ethernet.
