Key Responsibilities:
• Assist chefs in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to recipe specifications.
• Ensure the kitchen is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the safety of food preparation and handling.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including proper disposal of waste and regular cleaning of kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Assist in the preparation of food for service, ensuring accuracy and consistency in portioning and presentation.
• Follow instructions from chefs and supervisors to support kitchen operations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist with inventory checks and report shortages or supply needs to kitchen management.
• Be proactive in ensuring smooth and efficient operations during busy periods.
• Continuously improve cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
