Role Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Controller to lead our accounting operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will have direct responsibility over the accounting team and play a key leadership role in managing financial reporting, product costing, inventory valuation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures, ERP systems, and internal controls to drive accuracy, efficiency, and strategic insight.
Working Conditions
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (including a 30-minutes break)
Flexible to work during public holidays and weekends: Yes
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or audit.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
Experience:
• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing.
Skills
• Expertise in cost accounting and manufacturing finance

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)

Responsibilities and Obligations
Team Leadership & Financial Oversight
• Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee all general accounting functions, including the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and all relevant regulatory standards.
Manufacturing Cost Accounting
• Manage standard costing processes, variance analysis (material, labor, overhead), and cost revaluation.
• Analyze reports on manufacturing performance and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve cost tracking and control processes.
• Monitor and analyze inventory movements and valuations, including work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods.
Inventory & Fixed Asset Management
• Oversee periodic and annual inventory counts and ensure proper reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensure accurate capitalization and depreciation of fixed assets in line with policy and regulations.
• Implement controls to minimize inventory write-offs and obsolescence.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support and manage relationships with auditors, and tax advisors.
• Ensure strong internal control environment, with documented policies and procedures.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with related teams.
• Conduct margin analysis, profitability reporting, and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Drive improvements in reporting accuracy, process automation, and data transparency.
Systems & Process Optimization
• Maintain and enhance the ERP system’s finance and costing modules.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the accounting and manufacturing reporting cycle.
• Support system integrations and upgrades, ensuring alignment between finance and operations
