Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Radio Engineer to join our telecom team. This position is ideal for newly graduated engineers or early-career professionals who are eager to develop their skills in radio network engineering. You will work alongside experienced engineers on Ericsson radio systems, contributing to the deployment and optimization of mobile networks while expanding your knowledge of cutting-edge radio technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Ericsson radio equipment, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Participate in site surveys and prepare technical documentation for network deployments.
• Support experienced engineers in troubleshooting end-to-end cellular technology and solving radio network issues.
• Provide basic software and hardware support for customer lab environments and live networks.
• Perform network analysis and assist with test cases and field trials to validate performance and coverage.
• Continuously develop knowledge of radio technologies (GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G) and Ericsson solutions by attending training and shadowing senior team members.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
Technical Expertise & Skills
• Strong interest in mobile networks and radio technology; familiarity with Radio Access Network concepts is a plus.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
• Experience with basic measurement tools (spectrum analyzers, power meters) and understanding of network performance metrics is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced technical environment alongside cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Ericsson radio systems is a plus but not required.

Languages
Fluent in French (mandatory); proficiency in English and/or Arabic is considered a plus.
