About the Role

We’re hiring a hands-on Plant Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and operations at our flour mill. You’ll own equipment uptime, preventive maintenance, safety/compliance, and continuous improvement while developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment and site utilities/facilities.
• Design, implement, and audit preventive maintenance plans (PM/CBM/RCM).
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues across production lines.
• Drive process improvements, workflow optimization, and OEE gains.
• Ensure food-safety compliance (GMP, HACCP, sanitation, traceability) and EHS.
• Collaborate with Operations and QA to maximize uptime and product quality.
• Lead cost control: budgeting, Corey accounting, and expense management.
• Own material planning and supply scheduling to meet production targets.
• Build, coach, and develop maintenance/operations staff; manage contractors.
• Track KPIs (OEE, MTBF/MTTR, downtime, yield, cost/ton) and report regularly.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in food production, packaging, or beverage industries (mill/grain preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with CMMS, PLCs, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with utilities (compressed air, steam, dust collection) is a plus.
