Control Room Operator

The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring, supervising, and coordinating building systems and facility operations through the Building Management System (BMS) and other control systems. The role ensures smooth daily operations, quick response to alarms, and efficient communication with maintenance and security teams to maintain a safe and operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, security, elevators, etc.) using BMS and other monitoring tools.

Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and system notifications, and coordinate corrective actions.

Maintain constant communication with maintenance, housekeeping, and security teams for quick issue resolution.

Log and document all incidents, faults, and operational activities in daily reports.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors for scheduled maintenance or emergency support.

Ensure compliance with facility safety, health, and security policies.

Support energy-saving initiatives by monitoring utility usage and system efficiency.

Escalate unresolved issues to the Facilities Manager or relevant department.

Qualifications and Skills:

2–4 years of experience in facility operations, building management systems, or similar roles.

Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, fire safety, and security systems.

Familiarity with BMS software and CCTV systems.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.

Willingness to work shifts (24/7 operation environment)
